James Wright, the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Bath, launched his campaign this week in the centre of Bath, promising a future of bold action to secure sustainable growth for the city and country.
James Wright, grew up in Combe Down and started his family in Monkton Combe. His brother and mother worked for the NHS in Bath. A director in a technology company James has spent most of his career in the technology sector, where he supported the creation of dozens of jobs, securing the UK’s food supply and delivered millions in investment for research and innovation in Somerset.
Commenting on his campaign, James Wright said: "The world is becoming a more uncertain place, we can’t take our security for granted. Sir Keir Starmer has no plan. Rishi Sunak and the Conservatives aren’t afraid to take the difficult decisions to deliver bold action that will secure the future of the country.
The government has just opened a £40 million cancer centre in Bath to ensure that residents receive world-class detection and treatment. The Conservatives have a record of action, Labour doesn’t have a plan and the Liberal Democrats deliver us bollards.
"Bath is being failed by its Liberal Democrat council, which prioritises vanity projects over-delivering on resident’s needs. They are cutting services and increasing council tax, while they spend over £7.4 million on city centre bollards. On the 4th of July, vote for someone who will secure this country's future and hold the council to account."
James Wright's campaign is focused on delivering value to taxpayers, securing investment into the economy to support job creation and ensuring that the residents of Bath receive the effective and responsible representation they deserve.
