This commitment to strengthening healthcare services underlines the Conservative government's dedication to supporting both patients and healthcare professionals across in Bath.
James Wright said "The NHS is there for all of us when we need it most, from routine GP appointments to cancer treatments to critical care that's why I am delighted to have met with the Sectary of State to discuss access to Dental Surgery's and the investment in the Dyson Cancer Centre at the RUH.
The centre has oncology, chemotherapy and radiotherapy services, a 22-bed inpatient ward and a dedicated pharmacy, as well as a research team and nuclear medicine and physics teams. This will support the RUH's vital role in being one of the largest cancer facilities in the region and is capable of diagnosing 2,200 new patients every year.'
