I am proud to be the South West Chair for the Conservative Rural. Standing up for farming and the countryside - not just for my generation but the next. The future of the countryside affects us all, it’s our environmental bank, our carbon store and most importantly where the nations food comes from.
As part of this role I have a privileged opportunity to influence policy. As this is an election year we have written a manifesto, whilst it does not cover every issue that effects farming, rural communities and the countryside it does highlight some areas that we need to think about to ensure that as the world changes no one in rural Britain gets left behind.
